      Provider Number 4144568F

I'm Nadia and I love my job as an Osteopath! It brings me much pleasure helping people move and feel better, assisting them to identify the causes of their complaint and work towards resolving these with the ultimate goal of improving their quality of life.

My healthy appetite to continually grow and develop as a practitioner has guided me to train in visceral manipulation with the Barral Institute. This path has formed the cornerstone of my professional development, largely influencing the way that I work.
Mostly my approach to treatment and management is gentle (firm when required), so if you're after a strong pressure I may not be the practitioner for you.

If you are a new patient that has been referred by a practitioner, family member or friend, or are specifically seeking a visceral manipulation approach due to your research spurred by your own health journey, I look forward to helping you.

      Thanks,
      Nadia

Recently completing my degree at RMIT University in Melbourne, I am excited to move back to my home state where the sun shines a little longer, family is closer and to help a new community as an Osteopath. Osteopathy really drew me in, as it uses aspects from multiple healthcare modalities and combines it into one. Meaning a wide range of treatment approaches available to help different patient presentations.

I believe there are multiple puzzle pieces that make up the presentation in front of me. That’s why I may communicate about your personal life, social life, and work environment, alongside observe what may be happening anatomically, to provide an individualised treatment. This may include a combination of patient education, rehabilitation, direct and indirect techniques. I have completed further training in dry needling and cupping which can be used in treatment, and clinical Pilates, which can be incorporated in rehabilitation exercises.

      Provider Number 5601505X

I love my career as an osteopath, as I get to meet patients from all walks of life. I have worked with elite athletes, FIFOs, office workers, surfers, the elderly, and everyone in between, as the principles of osteopathy remain the same – aiming to return the body to how it was designed to move.

Osteopathy has always played a big part of my life, having grown up with a father who is an osteopath. This has directly contributed to my style of treatment using both a direct approach with soft tissue massage and joint manipulation and an indirect approach using gentle cranial techniques. I have found that combining different modalities of treatment is beneficial to the overall outcome for my patients and I have developed a strong interest in treating headache and neck related complaints.

I treat my patients with a current evidence-based approach, drawing on traditional osteopathic principles and techniques, and incorporating the use of dry needling into my practice where appropriate. I hold a double bachelor’s degree majoring in Osteopathy from RMIT, Melbourne and following graduation I lived and practiced in Sydney before calling Perth home.
